It takes two weeks from Kathmandu to Kathmandu to complete entire Annapurna Circuit trek For scenery and cultural diversity this has long been considered the best trek in Nepal one of the world’s classic trek. It follow the Marshyagdi River and Manang valley north of the main Himalayan range. Local people call valley of next to Himalaya.
The region which was officially open for foreigners from 1977. The trek around Annapurna has been most popular in Nepal. This trek share the cultures with Gurung, manangis and Thakalies.
On arrival at Kathmandu, after clearing immigration and customs, step into the receiving area where your local tour guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
Early in the morning leaving Kathmandu and heading to to Basi Sahar by Private Vehicle ( 4 hrs ). We will have lunch break here and after lunch by four wheel drive we left for chame. From Besi Sahar to Chame (4 hours) road is basic and bumpy but we can enjoy the water spring and tiny village green forest.
After breakfast we will have real trek began. All the way climb up Marshyangdi River. We stop the numerous time times along the way to appreciated waterfalls, mountains and monastery. Overnight Chame
Today Manang welcomed us with a drop in temperature. After 2 hours walk we will reach to Manang airport. We do have lunch break at humde Airport and trek continue to Manang.
Manang iswonderful place to spend 2 nights in altitude (3500m). One day is perfect to explore the old tiny village of Manang to visit old monastery and beautiful ice lake
Wake up next day morning have a breakfast and trek descend to Khangsar village. Soon we all geared up for the trek ahead and within few minute of walk from Manang. We will enjoy view of Gangapurna lake which furtuer boost us to head our destinations.
The trial ahead to Tilicho base camp. One of the toughtest in the world if we are lucky we will have good chance to see a glimpse of the Himalayan blue sheep also knows as a Naur in Nepali. Over night in tea house
Today we are going enjoy the view of dreamiest world’s highest beautiful Lake and snow capped mountains.
Early in the morning we have breakfast and bring some snakes and heading towards Tilicho lake. Full of excitement. It is approximately 4 hours walk to the lake from base camp. The feeling of getting closer to the lake filled us with excitements. We spent some quality of time take pictures and trek down to base camp.
Half a way back same way and then heading to Yak Kharka. We have some alpne, scrubby forest and juniper. Yak Kharka means Yak pasture so we can meet many around there over night Yak Kharka
Trek continue to thorong la Phedi from Yak Lharka climb up right side of the Marshayangdi River about to 2 hours and cross the river by suspenses bridge and contine to trek from left side of river we have lunch stop lower Thorong Phedi and trek continue to high camp
Wake up early in the morning ( around 4 am) few hours we have to walk on the dark morning, fix torch light and proceed towards Thorong la pass. Pass can be seen yonder from Thorong Phedi but it seemed to be a lot farther as we start. After reach to Thorong la pass ( 5360m). we will forget all our pain and enjoy the spectacular view of mountains. we spend few minutes to take some pictures trek continue down to Muktinath after lunch drive coutinue to Jomsom ( headquarter of Mustang district )
After long journey of trek you will have full rest in Pokhara. Optional can go massage hanging around lakeside market.
After breakfast around 8 am drive back to Kathmandu
